K.F. Quinn were responsible for the design of all the temporary works designs. The project consisted of pile cap bases, 10 metre high abutment and wingwalls, a 60 metre single span bridge desk which went across both the River Stour and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.

The deck was formed using precast omni planks with an in-situ concrete deck on top.
