Hydro-Electric Scheme

This project was a Hydro-Electric Scheme where we constructed two reinforced concrete water intakes at the top of the Snowdonia mountains, a power / turbine house at the bottom with associated water outlet structures.

Two pipelines were constructed from the top water intake structures and then piped down through the mountains into the turbine house. As the water travels at force down the pipeline and hits the turbines, these then rotate and produce electricity.
